Heart-Shaped Meatloaf


1 1/2 cups soft bread crumbs 

1 1/2 lb ground meat or turkey

1 egg, beaten

1 onion, chopped fine

3/4 cup celery, chopped

1 bell pepper, chopped

1/4 tsp dry mustard

1/8 tsp ground sage

1/2 tsp ground thyme

1 1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1/8 tsp nutmeg

1 can tomato soup 

3/4 cup grated fine carrot (optional)

Preheat oven to 350*Mix meat with egg, add onion along with seasonings, bread crumbs and veggies Add half the can of tomato soup and mix well. Turn into a 9″ x 11″ pan or casserole dish that has been sprayed with vegetable spray and shape it in a Heart, you man will love it! Spread the remaining soup over the top, smoothing it evenly overall. Bake at 350* for 1 hr and 15 min
