Father’s Day 2017

Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful dads out there, for all you do and you are Loved so very much…

Today For My man I’m grilling a big ol steak on our Weber Q grill. Along with a baked potato and nice salad with his favorite dressing from Olive Garden. All made with ♥ love ♥

With that said, today’s recipe will be out of my Recipe Folder and just as tasty as a grilled steak. Another favorite of my husband is a Beef Stir Fry, he loves Chinese food…

In fact, it’s his very favorite food right up there with Italian. The hubs is Italian so it’s no surprise he loves his pasta and sauce. He makes a mean sauce too, he cooks it all day. Now don’t get me wrong, I do ALL of the cooking, except the sauce. That’s all him… It is really good! I’m a southern gal and love Mexican and down home country comfort food, fried chicken, mashed potatoes w/ gravy and veggie. Lots of vegetables, mac and cheese, chicken fried steak, fish you know southern style food. He’s from the north and loves Chinese and Italian food.

Beef Stir Fry

2 tsp Sesame Oil, divided
1/2 pound boneless beef top sirloin steak, thinly sliced
1-1/2 cups thinly sliced red and green bell pepper
1/2 cup thinly sliced yellow onion
1/4 cup water
2 tsp Soy Sauce
Heat 1 tsp oil in large skillet over medium-high heat and add steak.
Stir until browned, remove from skillet and drain. Cover to keep warm.
Add remaining 1 tsp oil, bell pepper and onion to skillet. Cook about 5 minutes, add in water and soy sauce along with the meat.
Reduce heat to low, simmer 5 minutes or until sauce thickens slightly.
