Kitchen Gadgets

Today we’re gonna be talking Kitchen Gadgets. We all love kitchen gadgets or at least I do… Can you have too many??

I got my new Serving Set yesterday and I love it. I’ve been wanting a new stainless steel pie server because I only have a plastic one and I know it’s getting ready to break. Now the next thing on my list is to replace my liquid measuring cups. The cheap hard plastic I got at Walmart just doesn’t do it for me, not to mention they have already started to crack after just a few uses. So I’m looking at several different options of measuring cups on Amazon. I just love how I can purchase something with our Amazon Prime and get my order in 2 days.

Also, I have received several requests for some cookbook ideas. There are so many cookbooks out there it’s hard to choose just one. My suggestion is to get the cookbook that fits your budget and lifestyle. If you camp and cook over an open fire you might choose a cookbook like Easy Campfire Cookbook or the Foil Packet Cookbook.

If you full time and cook regularly in you RV you might choose a cookbook for your Pressure Cooker, Instapot or Ninja.

I use my Ninja 3 in 1 for so many things. It can be used as a crockpot (slow cooker), stovetop or oven. It takes the place of an electric skillet too. I’m here to tell you the Ninja makes the best food ever. My husband says it made the best Turkey he’s ever had. The Turkey comes out moist and so tender. But a little cooking trick I use is NOT to cook the Turkey in water but use Chicken stock to roast it. YUM… It just adds that extra flavor, I think anyway. I guess that’s why everybody wants me to make the Turkey at the Holidays.

Well, kids until next time…

Happy Cooking!!!
