I love the holidays! All the lights and the FOOD… I’m sure like most down here in the south it’s ALL about the Turkey and Dressing. The bird is the center of attention, the rest is just gravy!

Oh, my I’m getting hungry just typing this…
I guess I’ll have to go and make us a big ol’ breakfast. Maybe some biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and sausage. Yep the day before my birthday I’m going to make us a feast this morning… BUT first I want to tell everybody about the wonderful day we had yesterday. We had a small potluck with some great friends. Janice and Dave Evans made Smoked Pork for BBQ sliders, I made twice Baked Potatoes, Judy and Dick Mott brought all the condiments for BBQ sliders AND a surprise for Me. Judy and Dick’s son and daughter in law Mike and April Mott, brought a White Chocolate Rasberry Bunt cake from Nothing Bundt Cake
Just for my Birthday… How sweet is that? They are so thoughtful and just down right awesome kids… If you have never had one of these cakes you need to get yourself one! They have a small cake that is good for two and affordable…
That reminds me I have the leftover in the fridge… and it’s time to enjoy a piece…
